Terre di Tora company was born in 2014 from the desire of Antonia d’Amore (daughter of Clarissa Falco and Aberto D’Amore) to continue the family tradition by redeveloping the three main cultivations which are the centuries-old chestnut grove, the hazelnut grove and the old vineyard.
In particular, 10 hectares of chestnut grove have been recovered and enhanced with specific interventions. The 13 hectares of hazelnut trees, on the other hand, have been replanted in part, improving productivity.
And in conclusion, for the old vineyard, Antonia D’Amore decided to fulfil the dream of her father Alberto: to produce a high-quality wine. An ambitious idea. How to do that?
Here is the meeting and the study of a project with the great winemaker and friend Riccardo Cotarella: planting vineyards in order to make the most of the extraordinary characteristics of the volcanic soil of a particular area of the estate, magnificently exposed to the south.
The interventions gave life to two kind of wines Aglianico with unique characteristics: REBALTO 100% Aglianico and ADALARIS with deep aromas of undergrowth.
To these, VIOLANTE is added, a particular Rosé sparkling wine.
